Deaflead 18

TCTSY is a body-based therapy using traditional hatha style-yoga movements.

The language of the practice centers empowerment with  invitation and choice and emphasizes the person’s relationship to their own body over any specific form or shape. Individuals can always choose for themselves  if and how they want to participate.

What to Expect

TCTSY is offered as a therapy to DeafLEAD clients.

There is no cost for the program, and it is open to all victims of trauma and their families.

Participants are in charge of their own bodies during the practice, and are invited to choose which movements and forms or shapes are right for them during the session.

All practices are online, and no special equipment is required other than internet access and Video Phone or Zoom. You can practice while standing, sitting or lying down and make your space what it needs to be for you to be comfortable. Participant Cameras remain off during the practice to support autonomy and choice-making for each individual.
