An Advanced Look At Trauma
This training is designed for interpreters* that already have a basic foundation of trauma.
In Silent Survivor, we will look at the difference of trauma interpreters and mental health interpreting. Participants can expect to see an in-depth look at trauma as well as how this trauma affects the survivors we work with. We will travel through the history of trauma as well as go through ethical scenarios to help them piece apart where the trauma is present and how to navigate in this delicate environment.
