Join Children’s Grove and DeafLEAD on September 6th for a mural dedication event! The speakers will include the Mayor of Columbia, one of DeafLEAD’s Community Educators and Victim Advocates, Ashley Pappineau, Janet Thompson from the Boone County Commissioners, the artist, a Children’s Grove board member and the Children’s Grove President, Kim Dude-Lammy.

At the event they will be serving cookies and water and have a display with information from DeafLEAD, Children’s Grove, Compass Prevention and the Health Department as the mural is on their building.

This is an event for everyone! ASL interpretation services will be available.
